Addressing Weakness or That Movement That Refuses to Get Strong

Unfortunately once you start the journey of getting strong you are going to find one thing that always lags behind the rest.

And because you aren't progressing or are not particularly good at something you will let it slide. Who wants to be reminded that they aren't good at something?.

You have a great benchpress and a big chest and arms, your legs are big and strong but your chin ups… well… it looks like your being electrocuted when you try to do them.

A great training method is the Grease The Groove method or the GTG.

This a great training method that addresses your weakness.

So let's say it's press ups. You can only do a couple and it's game over.

Do a couple before you go up the stairs, at the top of the stairs try a couple more. Before you come down the stairs do a few more, at the bottom do a few more. (if you live in a bungalow or flat, every time you go in the kitchen).

Now at the end of the day you have completed… say… 40 reps in total. The next day you may complete 45 reps and so on.

This isn't a new method of training, it's been around for a long time and I'm not the only coach to use it. But it helps and it Gives you results.
