So today I am going to be covering training myths and common misconceptions you may have or not heard.
Hopefully we will get some questions answered and you will have a better understanding of your training going forward.
MYTH #1 - Lifting weights makes you bulky
It takes time, consistency in training and a sound nutrition plan to add lean muscle mass onto the body.
Lifting weights does not turn you into Eddie hall.
MYTH #2 - To burn fat I have to do loads of cardio
If you to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume. So endless boring cardio isn’t always the answer. A combination of strength, fitness and mobility work is always the best way forward.
MYTH #3 - Do I have to eat chicken, rice and broccoli all the time?
The vision of eating chicken and rice out of Tupperware is sometimes associated with training and losing weight. It doesn’t have to be like that. Protein is good and helps the body grow and recover.
