Weightloss and Building Habits

One of the reasons that people start training is to lose weight. They start running, swimming, spinning or just going the gym. Which is great by the way, it’s better than doing nothing.

Then the diet starts. Slimming world, weightwatchers, Keto or fasting to name a few.

It goes well, you make some progress and feel better. Until… the weekend or the bloke at work brings in a pack of chocolate hob nobs (the marines of biscuits) and the diet gets thrown out of the window.

It happens, we’ve all done it.

You could try building a good habit first. Start gradual, and build. If you try and change everything and go from 0-100mph in 2 seconds you could burn out and crash. Build your engine.

  1. Drink more water, an extra 3 pints of water a day. For taste add a little cordial.
  2. Protein and veggies everyday. That could be steak, new potatoes and broccoli.
  3. Move and get a sweat on. Lift some weights and move.
